Xavier has had 9 game and 10 game winning streaks this season. I am of the opinion we should start a 12 game winning streak tonight.

Few records to break this game:

    - Bluiett and Macura are 31 points behind Chalmers & Sato

    - Bluiett is four 3-point field goals behind Sato

    - Macura is 13 points behind Doellman for #20 on the scoring list

I'll be brutally honest: I could live with losing tonight and having that catapult us into an 11 game winning streak.

    Deal.

You are in charge of the catapult.

This game scares me. GT is improving, has nothing to lose at all.......

Would not be surprised to see another L.

I will take the 11 game win streak........

Naj vs Pinkett, Scruggs vs Blair

I'm sure there was no problem getting our 2 frosh pumped for this rematch! Those 2 young Hoyas provided all the game film needed for Naj and Paul to play hard and send a message going forward. The Marshall/Pickett match up is especially intriguing considering how familiar they will be when all is said and done. Would like to see a good helping of Scruggs with the defense assignment on Blair, especially guarding his 3 ball...hoping our guys can make a statement tonight to even things out!!!

    "we all" ?

Or a handful of nervous nellies who didn't want to give a frosh some time to develop?

I would actually like to congratulate Patrick Ewing for doing more with and getting more from this edition of Georgetown than I thought he would. They are better than their record (15-10) and they have lost 7 of those 10 games by 9 or fewer points. I think his decision to play a non-conference slate of patsies may have actually worked. His team works hard and plays hard all game. They get tired at the end and if their bigs have foul trouble they are in trouble, but they are dangerous to play. I could see them making a serious run at an NIT championship. Wouldn't it be something if Villanova and X make the Final Four and St. Johns and Georgetown make the NIT Final Four?
We've come a long way since my bench seat at the Fieldhouse!
