    Fitbit?

I want to get a Fitbit.

Who has one? How do you like it? Is it integrated with your phone? Where should I buy it?

Does it motivate you to move more knowing that you are tracking your scoring totals? Does it motivate you to take the stairs instead of the elevator. Does it work on a bike or a treadmill? Can you watch midget porn on it?

I have a friend that says she just uses an app on her phone and it is just as good. I am not so sure about that.

Give me your vast Fitbit knowledge of the internets!
    RIP Brian Dargin McCormick

Also looking to buy a new scale. Are smart scales all that? Anyone have one?

Try your phone app first to see if it does what you want before adding another piece of equipment to carry around.
...he went up late, and I was already up there.

I'm interested in the answer to this question as well.

I have owned three fitbits. The last two I returned for issues with the device coming apart. I now wear an apple watch.

I do feel as if it does motivate you to walk/move around. But I get the same functionality (plus more) out of my Watch. If the Fitbit had held up better, I might have stuck with it.

dont bother...the novelty will wear off. Unless you are already a committed person who excercises daily, this is simply a fad that will die off with newer better technology......like the Apple Watch with its multi-functional approach

I have a Garmin Vivoactive. Tracks steps much like a fitbit, has GPS/ apps for walking, running, biking, and golf (have yet to play a course I couldn't find in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, South Carolina, or Tennessee) and also connects to iphone so my calendar reminders pop up, can play music thats on my phone, call/text capability weather, etc. Cost is 20%-50% of the apple watch depending on which models you're looking at.

I hate having to return defective products. You had to do it twice. Not good for Fitbit.

Do you have the heart rate monitor? I am not really sure what I would do with that information anyway.
