    Deep Thoughts By Nigel Tufnel.....

How would our country react if a movie like the 80's movie Soul Man was released this Friday in cinemas?

C Thomas Howell in black face faking being African American to get into Harvard law school.

    Riots? Civil unrest?

That movie made a shit ton of money in the 80's. Now? Ouch.

Things have changed a lot. This is me realizing I'm old...

I opened this thread expecting critical insights into the world of betting. Hoped to make some $.

    Very disappointed.

I've been running bad. I'll give you a few bets to fade.

Or some of the TV shows from the 70's. 'All in the Family'; 'The Jeffersons'. The early seasons of MASH had a black surgeon on the staff nicknamed Spear chucker Jones. Woah!!

'Soul Man' was a good flick. Not sure it was exactly Oscar-worthy, but decent flick. Was Rae Dawn Chung in it too?

    'Blazing Saddles' is comedy gold.

One of my all-time favorites (gotta love that Mel) but I do cringe just a bit when I watch it. I don't recall last time I watched it (not that long ago) if they actually bleeped out the 'N' word the several times it was uttered (not counting the incomprehensible Gabby Johnson).
