    Just saw Jason is listed as the first alternate for the PGA next week. Not sure how likely it is for someone to withdraw, but something to keep an eye on...

    I think that’s the old list.... I saw somewhere he was in as an exemption.

    The "exemption" is #9 Players not otherwise exempt on Top 70 of PGA Championship points list. IDK how PGA Points list differs from $$$ list but I'd say had he (i) made cut in British Open or (ii) 1 stroke better last week he would fall under Exemption #9. Not sure but if one of the club pros wd, I think they might select another club pro. Results from Bridgestone and/or Barracuda tournaments could alter the #9 exemption. IMO if it's feasible he should play in Barracuda if he can reasonably qualify for PGA b/c too much at stake in majors.

    Heading over to Firestone today and Sunday. I’m very biased but I love this event.
    DJ is the clear favorite, but I’ll take Ricky at +2000 and Spieth at +1800. My longshot pick is Hatton at +6600.

    Doesnt look like Jason is playing at the barracuda either, so maybe he went to bellerive to practice just in case.

    It'll be the last time the PGA Tour goes to Firestone for a while - the WGC event they currently host shifts to Memphis next season.
