    Wofford Basketball (and the Run!)

Tiny little Wofford College (1,700 students) is a beautiful campus here in Spartanburg, SC.
Arguably their most famous alumnus is Jerry Richardson, the owner of the Carolina Panthers.
He, and his wife, have generously endowed many things on campus, including a recently completed Fine Arts building with theater and galleries.

His latest project to open in November for basketball, is a brand new 3,400 seat arena, with state of the art accommodations:

The Terriers (who have been to Cintas a couple of times) will open the new arena against South Carolina, and host North Carolina next year.

To assure success, they added a new assistant coach yesterday!

    Should be fun.

Nice find, Paul. Great to see Lionel get his break into coaching.

Did you tell me you go to Wofford games? I feel like when we had drinks, you mentioned you either had Wofford season tickets or regularly went to games (maybe it was Furman).

Yes, I go to the Wofford games. Looking forward to the new arena.
Many of my friends here in Spartanburg are Wofford grads.

Hoping to connect with Lionel as time allows. Spartanburg is a small place.

The low point of the Chris Mack era at Xavier involved Wofford.

Took us to 3OT back in 2010 too. Made the tourney 4 times since 2010. They have a great program, should be a solid starting job.

was that the game J-Rob intentionally fouled somebody when we were winning and almost gave all of us heart attacks?
