My kids aren't anywhere close to college age, but damn...that was touching. Thanks for sharing.

I was there front and center.
Mother Cooley XU81 and I were dropping off Coco Cooley XU21, who began classes today.
Coco joins her big brother Spike Cooley XU19 who attends classes occasionally from what I can tell.
Fr. Graham did a great job both times we had the pleasure to see him greet the freshman, er, first-year, class.
The entire new student welcome process is great. Hats off to the Admissions Team, Operations Staff, and, especially students on the Move-In Crew!Warmly,
"Mel"

What's a "move in crew?"
...he went up late, and I was already up there.

Each fall, Xavier students, staff, and faculty volunteer to help incoming students move into the residence halls. They typically use the stairs to move stuff leaving the elevators for incoming students and their families. Injuries and body aches notwithstanding, it is always lots of fun...unless it is raining.

Am I missing a video or audio recording, or is it just the brief description?

Thank you to Mike's secretary for writing that. Although he did deliver it well (as much as I can't stand the baffoon).
