Sorry I know you asked this forever ago...
Mac king is awesome, funny, cheap(for Vegas), and only does day shows which can work really well for a schedule. Best bang for the buck hands down.
Skip Penn and Teller. Not worth the money and not that great of a show IMO.
David Copperfield is an amazing show, but expensive and he's just arrogant and cocky and that attitude carries into the show. If your travel companion hasn't seen him before, they should go just because it's one of those people that you should see before they die. Imagine having a chance to see MJ play for the Bulls.
I haven't seen Kris angel so can't comment on his show!

Going to XU's game on Friday (and probably 1 or 2 other Friday games). Anybody know how/if you can buy single game tickets or single day passes? The Orleans website only sells packages for the entire tournament. Hate to pay for Thursday games when we're not even arriving in Vegas until Friday.

Anyone need any recommendations for Vegas while they're out here? I've lived here over 4 years and look forward to seeing a couple Xavier games instead of having to fly back to Cintas to catch a game.
I will note that the Encore isn't exactly close to the Orleans, but the Orleans has a pretty solid SportsBook. There's not too much within close walking distance from the Orleans, except a Home Depot and a pretty good Chinese Dim Sum restaurant. I would recommend going to Downtown Vegas where all the old casinos are next to 'Fremont East', which is kind of like OTR in Cincinnati. The area was pretty run down then Zappos put their corporate headquarters there and put money into cleaning up the area. It's pretty lively with bars, restaurants (an Evel Knievel themed pizza place), and the Container Park, which has a large, metal, flame-throwing Praying Mantis out front. Ha. And if you're wearing a jersey, be aware as some bars/restaurants don't allow them. I'll probably be around Fremont Street during the weekend.
And if anyone wants 2 free tickets to see Steel Panther at Mandalay Bay on Saturday night, let me know.
