Did they have ticket prices? Maybe it's cheap?

I mean aren't these going to be akin to playground type games? Or Gus Macker type games?

Probably...that's why I'm kind of shocked at having these at big venues. Just throw them in a random gym and televise it.

Barclays? Rupp? The Spectrum? AA Center?

Kenyon Martin is one of the team captains. This is interesting. Some very recognizable names involved.

Tickets look to be ~$20 to ~$25 for cheapest seats at each venue.

Also noted on the site is that kids tickets are free thanks to Rashard Lewis.

    Here's all the rosters:

Clyde Drexler and Dr. J among the coaches of the 8 teams.

Yes I read through the "draft" and the list of people who didn't make a roster that tried out. Some definite college stars in there. I believe I saw OJ Mayo?

I heard they adding HORSE to the Olympics after that. I'm just wondering when the slam dunk contest will be added.

We should push for a 6' and under competition. (Or for that matter, 5'6" and under.) You, me, and Muggsy Bogues could bring home the gold.

15k showed up for the opening weekend. I'm going to check it out tonight.

Heard it was absolutely BRUTAL in person. Hopefully the editing team at FS1 can spice it up a bit I guess.

There's a good crowd, but the basketball is pretty brutal.

Cmon, you didn't expect this? Most of the guys playing are probably nowhere near the shape and skill level of their playing days. The draw is the big names...but once people realize The Answer isn't quite The Answer anymore (which I'm not sure why they didn't realize that before they went), they'll lose interest real quick.

And my guess is that 15k didn't buy tickets. It was hyped with a decent crowd to make it look good. It won't last.
