    That sucks. AAC way better in baseball though so makes sense.

    Yeah, after the initial surprise wore off and I thought about it more, it makes sense.

    If what I have heard is accurate, and assuming he makes as much as UC was paying Ty Neal (who had less experience and less success), Googs will be making a lot more money. As in, more than doubling his salary.

    I can't imagine Xavier pays its baseball coach too well. The program has to lose money hand over fist. However, Googs had them right on the edge of the level where you can make up for the lack of revenue with positive exposure. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of confidence Xavier can really get past that level.
