    DePaul Lands 5 Star Recruit

I know it's old, but I didn't see it anywhere here, and yes you didn't read that title wrong: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2...to-class-of-18

Though a lot can happen in the course of a year, this could be huge for DePaul, new stadium, washing off a bit of mediocrity, and getting competitive in the Big East... most teams in the Big East are heading in the right direction, the conference looks like it's going to be a war for years to come.

I think it is awesome that they are playing in Downtown. I never wanted to go to a game in the suburbs of Chicago, if I want to road trip to Chitown, they have to have a place downtown. Not the optimal real estate for them, but at least easily accessible. I know that I will attend a game there just looking at it. Good for them, and good for us.

DePaul doing what we wished Fordham and Bonaventure would've done back in the day: Making strides in facilities, coaching, and recruiting.
"He's a little bit ball-dominant, he needs to have the ball in his hands, and he's not a good shooter." Ball-dominant … isn't that a nice way of calling someone a ball hog? Where is my Jay Bilas Thesaurus?

Yup, I appreciate the fact that nobody appreciates mediocrity in the Big East, it might have taken Georgetown a while, but they even got rid of a toxic JTIII, the case is still out on Mullen at St. John's, and what Patrick Ewing can do, but all in all I would say that the entire league is trending upwards.

I appreciate that DePaul saved our season last year! Thank you sucking so much this team could actually beat you 2 times at the end of the year to secure a bid and get some momentum! Thanks!
We've come a long way since my bench seat at the Fieldhouse!

Is 5-10 a BE Point? This guy must have a motor, but how will he guard? Who will he guard?
It's a still great day to be a Muskie, but a sad day to be a supporting member of this board.

He'd tower over Drew Lavender, and Drew Lavender would have been just fine playing in the Big East.

5' 10" and 155 lbs; agree with Emp. The kid also played prep ball on stacked team. Good player probably but game changer, no way with weaknesses exposed regularly.
I have seen only two great plays: Hamlet and put the ball into the basket
