St. John's Lands 2017 Wing Sid Wilson
Working with ex-NBA players like Chris Mullins and Mitch Richmond is having an effect.
Sidney Wilson, a 6-foot-7 wing from The Bronx chose the Red Storm over UConn and Texas. The No. 19 small forward in the Class of 2017 per 247Sports.com, Wilson averaged 17.2 points and 5.3 rebounds last season. Wilson and Quinnipiac transfer Mikey Dixon gives St. John’s 11 scholarship players for 2017, so they still have two remaining.

They have a very young but talented team. Only real question is coaching and big men. Should be a tourney team.
