Chris Cornell Dead of apparent Suicide

This one REALLY hurts deeply, boys and girls.
Soundgarden was always my favorite Seattle band and there is so much great stuff in the Library. While I never had a chance to see Soundgarden live, I did see Chris Cornell in the fall of 2015 when he was doing a solo tour at a small venue- the Lakewood, OH Civic Auditorium. The guy was a consummate musician and it was a great show with a great set list. Today I "Fell on a Black Day". And in one of his songs, Chris asked, "Would you cry for me?"

Yes, Chris, yes. #RIPChrisCornell There is a Black Hole in the Sun today.

He did a show, came offstage and killed himself? That is odd.

Also was apparently going to be a headlining act at Rock on the Range in a few weeks. I agree that it seems odd.

It's very rock & roll of him.

I guess so. He had a band around his neck in the bathroom is what I've read. Suicide isn't the first place my mind would go, personally.

    Seems INXSesive.
It's a still great day to be a Muskie, but a sad day to be a supporting member of this board.

From AudioSlave to Sound Garden...to my favorite Temple Of The Dog.

I'm going to miss this guy and his work a lot. Such a tragic thing to do.

He had the best voice of the rock bands from his era. And speaking of, Eddie Vedder is the last frontman left of those bands. All gone way too early.

I don't know if that was supposed to be clever or something, but joking at all about a persons death confirms everything I think about you. You are a miserable bag of skin.
