    St. Anthony's is Closing

Really sad news that this iconic Catholic school in Jersey City is closing. It's a big story because of Bob Hurley, but regardless of the athletic programs, I hate to see these inner city Catholic schools close. Hope St. Benedict in Newark isn't next.

Damn Go. St. Anthony's is closing. Wichita St. is joining the AAC! Society is crumbling.

Per Wiki, in 2013-14, the school had total enrollment of 224 students. I guess most of the Catholic kids in that area are going to the suburban schools.

Co-worker of mine is a Jersey guy, he tells me Hurley was a massive a-hole and that St. Anthony's has been "closing" for a few years. Tells me Hurley was a parole officer and had a few jobs including HS Coach.
