Can't lie. If FSU offered and I had to choose between X and FSU based on women (assuming I have no pre-existing X-based fanaticism, which I do have) it's kind of a no-brainer. Plus, it's Florida.

Saying that, if I had had D1 ability and X offered to me, I would have signed as soon as possible. Can't imagine actually playing for the team I grew up loving so much.

The underdogs were 6-2 in the first round, with the biggest upset #8 CSU Bakersfield beating #1 California.

Now, if Greensboro can just beat Syracuse.

In California's defense, they were without two of their better players.

I was under the impression that Florida State sold out every game from Duke on. Like a lot of places, basketball is more of a restaurant than a religion. If it's good, then it's rammed full and everyone wants to be there, but if it's not no one really cares and people just stop going. I think a lot of so-called "football schools" are like that about basketball, and a lot of "basketball schools" are like that about football.

But, having said that, I can't seem to find their attendance figures.

If you really want to find that answer, you can look at each game summary on ESPN under the schedule/score results for FSU.

I looked at the first home game after their Duke win (which wasn't sold out). It was against ND.

    Attendance: 10,535, 84% of 12,500 capacity

Rabb and Byrd were out, Rabb is a 1st round pick and Byrd is very good.

Did they get hurt in the Pac-12 tournament or just decide not to play?

I thought that first round NIT games were played at the better seed's site.
If so, why did Indiana go to Georgia Tech?

IU's home court may have been unavailable. UK played @ Robert Morris one year in the NIT.
