Lowther gave up a pair of homeruns (one solo, another a 2-run shot) that accounted for all of Butler's offense so far.
As I type, Xavier's up 7-3 in the bottom of the 7th with the bases loaded and a chance to blow this one wide open.

Second game has been awesome if you love offense. Xavier up 16-10 in the top of the 8th, but this was 14-2 after 5 innings. Bullpen has been shaky outside of Brad Kirschner today, and really puts the onus on Greg Jackniewitz to get a long outing tomorrow.

SWEEP!!!!
That was huge for X. Now 6-3 in the league. As long as they take care of business against Georgetown, making it to Omaha should be safe.

Getting 2 or 3 wins at St. John's/Creighton would be real helpful.

Seriously thinking about going to Bloomington to see them play.
"He's a little bit ball-dominant, he needs to have the ball in his hands, and he's not a good shooter." Ball-dominant … isn't that a nice way of calling someone a ball hog? Where is my Jay Bilas Thesaurus?
