It may be a bit of an unusual addition to the conversation....but not exactly wrong. The individual has been playing for SJSU for the past couple of years without incident from what I understand. So they must have "passed" pretty well.

She should have kept her legs closed, she is the town bicycle, etc. I hear/read this crap all the time. I have a daughter and I know exactly how I am going to raise her, but when I read and hear that rhetoric it's pure behavior control. Your second comment about "self control" is behavior control. The 60s and 70s already happened, cat is out of the bag. Pre-marital sex is no longer shamed in our world and it hasn't for decades. These are the waters that need to be navigated.
Please don't fool yourself, your question to me whether I have a daughter was absolutely shaming language. You just wanted to post, well you don't have a daughter so you don't know or you can't have an opinion.

Maybe the world needs more shaming.

Contradictory statements. That's interesting.
No waters need to be navigated, people just need to take some responsibilities for their actions. You choose to have sex, you deal with the consequences of those actions. And I don't think dealing with it should be murder. Period.

Trump to his wife: "I'm not going to tell you what to do."
Trump to the rest of the women in America: "I was able to kill Roe v Wade."...he went up late, and I was already up there.

That is your opinion and you are entitled to it and be among the minority who have it. The reality is that you cannot control behavior like that. It has been proven time after time. It's the reason abstinence only loses out to true sex education, it's the reason prohibition failed, human behavior can't be controlled.
If you think "no waters need to be navigated" news flash there is a reason that idiom exists (navigating uncharted waters). We live in a world with things no parent has ever handled. I had friends that were bullied, their bullying stopped only when I was around or when they went home. Now with social media, it continues on the interweb regardless of where you are. I know parents who are clueless to that. They also fail to understand that not only do smart phones give their kids access to the world, but more importantly it gives the world access to your kids. They also don't understand what that access does to dopamine levels in the human brain. How do you think the above could have contributed to the current behavior of every generation went through their youth with this kind media?
Contradictory statements? Tell me the majority shame pre-marital sex with a straight face. It's shamed in your echo chamber, venture out into the world a bit. I exist in both hence why I have read and heard those shaming statements.
