Abortions may/would assuredly drop, and it falls short of the type of behavior control (proven when shaming language is used regarding sexual behavior) that comes from the extreme right.

Right. But haven't you heard? Personal responsibility is out the window in today's society. There are plenty of ways to not get pregnant, and if you do, there are plenty of things you can do besides killing your baby. That seems to be lost on a whole lot of people, even on this thread

This San Jose State volleyball situation is weird. Someone finally played them last night, and they lost in three sets to Colorado State. Utah State, Wyoming, Southern Utah and Boise State have cacelled their games with San Jose State because one of the SJSU players is apparently trans.

What is really weird is the politics of this whole issue and the PARTY that supports it. The competition element is one thing, but the locker room issue is much larger concern.

It’s a big conversation among my group of friends. Quite a few of the ladies played high d1 volleyball and they span the political spectrum. They all believe it’s complete bs this person is allowed to continue playing.

I really don’t understand how anyone can support something like this, especially from those who worked so hard for equal rights in women’s sports.

First, you have to believe that trans women are women, full stop. That there's literally no difference between a trans woman and what they would call as cis woman. Once you've made that leap, then it's completely obvious that you should support the SJSU person being allowed to play and any other position makes you a hateful bigot.
