Ya know what might be nice....some transparency and some evidence of actual waste and fraud beyond Musk and Trump just saying it. That'd be swell. I don't think that's really a lot to ask. I have little doubt there is waste and fraud going on, but maybe show the American people? Saying it is one thing, being transparent with evidence is another.

It's like day 25. Maybe Trump and Musk should shut up about it a bit (they definitely should), but I think it's a bit early to be demanding all the receipts.

When you shut down an entire agency in less than two weeks time, and lay off 13k people, I think it's fair to demand receipts in that same time period.

There was a time I was a big 5 at the time auditor by trade. I agree with this. I even audited tribes and government entities. It's not hard to put together a plan, work paper support, and an opinion. Two weeks is enough time. I have done this at a tribal level where the quality of work isn't the highest.
