I'm with ya, but it they have a way to go to look like top 10 material.

And I hope they do that!

Still trying to understand how the hit on Hunter was legal. No worries, the no call only cost ND a TD.

No hit = TD. Penalty means keep trying, but yeah.

Put up 47 and lose. ND needs to make some changes.

Did Texas just win the national title or something? You beat an overrated notre Dame team....at home...good game but both of these teams are pretty mediocre.

Texas is 12-16 in their last 28 games. I agree that they were putting way too much on this game. Had they lost it their fans would have been devastated and ranted and raved about how they're no longer relevant. Now that they've won it, they think they're a playoff caliber team. That's too many eggs in one basket, IMHO, but having said that I understand why they feel so good about this one.

Yeah, I know. I think I've seen two teams so far that looked really good, and that's Houston and Alabama. Everyone else that's high in the rankings looked somewhere between decent and mediocre. Ohio State and Michigan ran over some cupcakes, but putting a beat down on a team that's probably not even as good as your practice squad isn't necessarily overly impressive.

Yes but it's pretty easy to tell if teams are actually good or not. It's not rocket science.
