What a difference the Big East has made to Xavier athletics.

I'm not sure the Big East has much to do with it. Baseball is one sport where tha A-10 was probably a better league.

Nevermind, just looked at the numbers, and the A-10 is absolutely brutal. I thought Richmond and (back in the day) Charlotte brought the league up a bit, but I was wrong. The Big East is a bad baseball league, but it actually is a slight improvement over the A -10.

But it is not full of dominant programs which allows a team like X to struggle early in the season and then put together a ridiculous league season and make the NCAA's. I'll take it.
