Before you said it in your second post, I was about to say that the home games seem to really be rough. I don't know one way or another with away games. Maybe the travel makes them more focused on the game or they get to bed at a more reasonable time? College kids, even when not drinking, aren't the best about a reasonable bed time.
Or maybe it's just a fluke.

I am not particularly concerned about Whitehead's return after so long.
I assume that Mack will go heavily with the 4-out, 1-in (small team) to minimize SH raining threes and to contain stretch F Mobley.
If Abell defends Gibbs half as well as at Cintas, and we are careful to put a body on Delgado (best OR in the BE and a very impressive frosh), or Stainbrook gets Delgado in foul trouble, we have a good shot.
I think Kenpom has this as essentially a toss up.
Would be a terrific win. A loss flips the two teams in the standings. A win maintains the edge and provides tie break protection.

I'm hoping one of our guys off the bench heats up a little bit and consequently gains confidence. Tre, JP, and Jalen allow us to have one of the more talented 6, 7, and 8's in the nation. IMO if just one of those three plays well every game, no matter which, X is playing like one of the better teams going into the NCAA tournament.

Does anyone think if we win we will be ranked?

I am encouraged because of recent trends. I am terrified because things tend to even out.
GO TRENDS!

X -1.5 tomorrow. If Xavier keeps winning, the Muskies will be favored in every game the rest of the regular season.
