In the middle of the night last night, I woke up in a cold sweat thinking of what Pinkston and company are going to do to this defense.

All I want this game is to see great defensive effort. If we can't bring effort and intensity to this game, I don't see it coming this year. Anyone who doesn't bring it defensively this game, should be benched the next game.

Farr, Reynolds, Stain and co need to sack up and come to play or Ochefu and Pinkston are going to eat us alive in the post.

It probably won't be enough, because Villanova is very good, but I really expect a huge effort from our guys. I mean, for the first time all year the pressure is completely off of them, because NO ONE expects Xavier to win Wednesday night. With really nothing to lose, I think this group could (will) turn in a big performance. Hot shooting from behind the arc would certainly help.

I'd love to agree with you, but I just don't see it.

We don't have the players to defend a team like Nova. Unless 'Nova comes out and has a really cold shooting night I just don't see it.

We're going to have a nice steak first, a couple of pops then go see a basketball game with NO expectations of anything.
