Something about passports for his daughters that you would need if you flew but wouldn't need if you took a boat back to the States. Then they were supposedly flying back from Fort Lauderdale.
"Minors traveling unaccompanied or accompanied by a guardian or chaperone:
What is required to enter The Bahamas may vary greatly from what is required o re-enter the country of origin.* In general a child under 16 years of age may travel into the Bahamas merely with proof of citizenship. Proof of citizenship is a raised seal birth certificate and preferably a government issued photo ID if on a closed loop cruise or a U.S. passport if entering by air or private vessel."
A "closed loop cruise" is one on a non-private boat that departs and re-docks from the same port. This one being Port Everglades at Fort Lauderdale.Last edited by Masterofreality; 12-02-2013 at 07:57 PM.

Not that I care all that much...but whey didn't they just, you know, get passports? The trip wasn't exactly a surprise.

And, I have to wonder - how does a man like Chris Mack not realize let alone make sure his children have the necessary travel papers. Then again, after that tournament, that move is sounding genius in hindsight. He gets to decompress away from the team in the privacy of his family without the team or media around. The added bonus of a mini family vacation is also a nice touch.
And agreed, if CasinoGate is an issue, they aren't going to shout it on 55KRC unless the school wanted to make a disciplinary point IF anything, they would merely say it was a team rules issue.
And our coach has been compared to Bob Huggins, just great.
In other news - the Marquette team was seen spending valuable time at their exempt tournament riding roller coasters. Oh, the shame. :)- David Bowers ('95)
