This doesn’t really contribute. But La Niña has a good chance of happening this year (over 50% chance), which would lead to a colder winter (except for the se)

I read an article in Popular Science (FWIW) that says the ozone hole over the Antarctic has been getting smaller for several years.

It topped out at 60-degrees in Jacksonville today. When the ball drops in the Big Apple tonight, it is expected to be 40-degrees here. 40-degrees, with some areas going into the 30's.
I'm not complaining. I'm originally from Ohio, so I still understand cold and freezing and driving in snow and sleet and everything that comes with all that. But these temperatures in NORTHEAST FLORIDA are cold FOR FLORIDA, period. And we are having an extended run of them.
I have no doubt that a world population that is marching towards 7 billion puts stress on the globe. I have no doubt that man-made chemicals and manufacturing processes invented in the last century, in particular, and the general industrialization of the planet, and, for that matter, the lack of proper stewardship of the planet's resources (e.g. water pollution, etc.) have put stress on the planet. Climate change or no climate change, we're fools if we don't take proper care of the rock on which we live.
However, recorded temperatures have been ongoing since the mid-19th Century. The earth is thought to be 41/2 billion years old.
Climate change as defined by those who back people like Al Gore is - how's this - questionable.X A V I E R

But, but, but Dash. The “Science is settled”. That’s what that famed scientist Barak Obama told us years ago!
Meanwhile it’s 4 degrees above zero in Northeast Ohio right now. The palm trees aren’t sprouting on Lake Erie anytime soon."I Got CHAMPIONS in that Lockerroom!" -Stanley Burrell
