There is a reason why in Canada across Lake Erie all of their wind turbines are on dry land. This Lake Erie windmill plan is horrendous.

Climate change, formerly known as global warming, is just more liberal nonsense- "It's happening because we say it's happening", and ""It will be catastrophic if we don't take extreme measures". And the liberals keep saying this, and the media keeps reporting it, despite the fact that their predictions of dire consequences have never come true. Instead, the liberals and the media move the goal posts and say, "We didn't mean 2016. We meant 2026." Even worse, because there was no global warming going on, they had to change the name to "climate change". That way any event whatsoever-warm, cold, rain, snow, drought or hurricane- is caused due to climate change. If it's cold- we need to get rid of fossil fuels. If it's warm- same remedy. It's all nonsense.

I have one more question for those who want to do away with fossil fuel entirely.
What will you use to pave roads and maintain them economically?
Asphalt and tar are extracted from petroleum and coal. I guess you could go 100% concrete but that is highly expensive and would require big tax increases for “Infrastructure” expense. Plus the production process for cement/concrete produces large volumes of greenhouse gas emissions, leading to net 8% of global emissions. Other environmental concerns include widespread illegal sand mining, impacts on the surrounding environment such as increased surface runoff or urban heat island effect, and potential public health implications from toxic ingredients.
The “Kill Carbon” idiots have zero idea what the world would look like if that occurred. Electric cars that are produced from environmentally damaging rare earth material mining still need roads to drive on.

It could easily be argued that the Liberal war against fossil fuel is the root cause of the current inflation mess. Bozo Joe immediately upon taking office cuts off pipeline plans, and new drilling and production. We were pretty much energy independent and that kept the cost of fuel low, which kept transportation costs low. The price of fuel doubles, which means the cost of transporting goods doubles, which leads to higher prices, which leads to inflation.
The Dems also had a hand in Russia's attack on Ukraine. Do you think Russia would have had the balls for the invasion if the US was going full bore with oil production? Hell no, because they are partially financing the war by holding parts of Europe hostage with oil which the Europeans could have purchased from the US pre Biden.
So the Green New Deal has way more serious consequences than reducing the global temperature a millionth of a degree over the next 50 years. They're idiots and it's infuriating.

The Russian/Ukraine war is showing how foolish these greens are- Russia is financing the war via gas sent to Europe. Europe needs the gas because they want to go green (but obviously can't) and won't produce their own energy. So they buy it from a much less environmentally sound country run by a brutal dictator. But the left- wing greens don't care.

They just want to live in their fantasy land that if you want to go green, you can. It's that simple in their minds, regardless of the actual consequences.
