Yup. Loved Mickey, but it appears that Carl Willis is doing just fine. Tribe is second in all of baseball in Team ERA. Happy for Mickey though. Should have been a Manager long before this. Tito Francona knows who to have on his staff. Quality throughout.

By the way. Tribe in first by 2.5 games on April 24, despite having the second lowest Batting Average in all of MLB. Wait until water returns to its level and the averages even out.

Jump on the Indians' bandwagon now, folks!

    Uh. Cleveland Indians update.

-In first place by 12.5 games.
-Just swept the Mighty Cincinnati Redlegs (Who was my first overall and still my favorite National League team.)
-Won the coveted Ohio Cup for the 5th straight year.
    -Still room on the bandwagon.

Just stop the damn-ass injuries already!!!!!!!

Irrelevant when you're playing in the Comedy Central division that includes two teams that are 30+ games below .500. It's like Dayton fans crowing they have 9 more wins against Xavier in the overall head-to-head series.

While the friendly confines of the AL central is a real thing.... the ENTIRE NL is a joke this year. The Indians are built for the playoffs. Assuming they are mostly healthy come October, they will have all the pieces together that makes them as dangerous as anyone. Two definite Aces as starters and two definite MVP candidates in he lineup. They are loaded and will be peaking at the right time...

My Rockies have some starting pitching this year. 1st time in 25 years. They draw 42k a game whether in first or last place. Swept 4 @ ATL. 'Bout time we beat the hated Dodgers. They are killing the AL this year.

Much more impressive if they're padding their interleague record against the AL West - Seattle might be good enough to win the NL pennant but are likely the odd team out in the AL playoffs.

As for your Rox, they and Arizona have a nice race going with the Dodgers in the NL West.

    Uh, reconsider, Band.
With last night's win over the allegedly impenetrable Boston Red Sux, the Indians now have a better record than all 3 National League Division leaders. They are also getting very close to the AL Western Division leaders in record. All this with 3 starting position players and one of their best starting rotation pitchers, Bauer, out.

It's going to be hilarious, and Rob Manfred's head will explode, when the Yanquis and the Astros play a one game wild card playoff with the winner playing the Red Sux. All this while the Tribe plays the A's/Mariners. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
