1. Big East was ranked 5th in overall average attendance at 10,371 per home game, literally just behind the Big 12 who average 10,376 per home game.
2. Pac 12 home attendance was 7,747 in 6th place, while the Big Ten was first at 12,197.
3. Big East conference tournament had the highest average attendance for its conference tournament at 18,790 per session. The Big 12 was 2nd at 17,850 per session.

Creighton's numbers are quite impressive - but, then again, what else is there to in Omaha in the winter.....in Omaha.....in the winter....?

I have a coworker who went to Creighton (you know heard it from a friend who heard it stuff) and said their basketball program is much more popular than U of N in the state except for Lincoln. As for Omaha (and surrounding) folks love Nebraska football and Creighton basketball.
