According the Cincy Enquirer, $2.5M is what everyone is getting.

How is that possible? All the reports were AT LEAST $3M each school per year.

$2,500,000 * 10 * 12 = $300,000,000.

$200,000,000 / 12 = $16.7 million to office/administer the conference seems a tad high to me, assuming $500 million is the actual number over 12 years.

Perhaps the $2.5M is guaranteed to all with any additional $$ being tied to performance. That could be what the Washington Post article was referring to.

Funny, I actually like Butler more now...feel more tied to them, like it's us against the other 7. Maybe that will change too.

Since my favorite team is done for the season, hands-down my new favorite squad is Creighton. Hope they kick the ever-loving sh*t out of Mick and his Bearcats. After that game, of course, I'll begin treating them like any other conference foe*:

1. Root for them in the non-conference.
2. Root for/against them during conference play as to aid Xavier in the standings.
3. Root for them in the post-season.
4. And above all else and most important/obvious, root like hell against them when they play Xavier.

*This theory never applied to Dayton. I rooted against them in every game they played unless it put Xavier's post-season chances at risk or whenever they played UC.
