Amazingly, they are now a huge beneficiary of the US tax law changes. 45% of their most recent quarter profit came from the benefits from US Tax law changes implemented by Trump, Bezos' favorite punching bag in his now tabloid newspaper, that used to be the gold standard under Katharine Graham, the Washington Post.

How has Trump avoided paying taxes, except as dictated under the loopholes that the previous Adminstration either failed to address or ignored altogether?
Bezos is the master at deception and screwing the Government, and also his employess, some of which are on food stamps because of his lousy pay scale. By the way. Has anyone seen any $1,000 bonuses or pay scale increases at Amazon since the tax law change like there has been at other companies? I sure haven't seen anything from Mizer Bezos.
Bezos takes advantage of tax loopholes and he's a charlatan.

Trump takes advantage of tax loopholes and that's Obama's fault.

Bezos doesn't pay workers what they deserve and he's a horrible person.

Trump doesn't pay his workers or contractors and he's a good businessman.

I'm going to give the edge to Bezos because even though he's an a-hole, at least he's an a-hole who can read/comprehend unlike the a-hole in the White House.

Welp, the roller coaster is in full effect. Hope you didn't get whiplash.

Dow up 390 points today. And Bezos is still a charlatan.

I'm with the Trumper on this one. Long-term this has to be done at some point. I think it's a really dangerous move politically, which is a obviously why no one has had the guts to do it in the past.

I would be really interested to see surveys on people's perception of a trade war with China as it progresses. Assuming it keeps adding volatility to the stock stock market and potentially stifles GDP growth, one would think it will test his popularity. China has the luxury of not giving a rats ass about its citizens so this is no big deal for them.

For better and for worse (because it's some of both), Trump is definitely willing to do things that most politicians would never touch with a ten foot pole. He's never going to be popular with more than a certain slice of the country, and he doesn't appear to give a fuck (I mean, he whines about it some, but he doesn't change his behavior at all). I like it except when I hate it.

I think it's hilarious when Trump tries to assert his moral compass.

    I mean it's a freaking riot.

I would rep you for this, but the man won't let me. Regardless, very trenchantly stated.
