Yes he was an executive. With that, he was Chairman and CEO. Don’t forget about his wife Sarah who was an Edgecliff college grad.

LLY stock is one of the few big performers in the market this year. Up 30%. John must have had some big stock option grants come due this year.

John is a great guy. Very humble considering he was the CEO of a World leader in the pharmaceutical industry. Saw him in the handshake line at a CYO football game years ago. He was one of the assistant coaches on the opposing team. Just a regular guy. You wouldn't think he'd have time for that. And yes, Lilly stock has been a star of the DOW this year. My little piece of it has lessened my portfolio from being a disaster, to just, not so hot.
