I went to see WSU play North Carolina Central last Saturday, and while the game was never in doubt, NCCU gave WSU fits with their pressure D. I was expecting a much better VCU team to basically run a lay-up drill on the Shockers. VCU only turning the Shockers over 13 times was very surprising.

Looks like I might have two good teams to follow again this year afterall.

I've been hearing about "havoc" ad nauseum. Would have thought they could take WSU. Then of course I only missed the pick'em score by about 20 on the X game...so I don't know sh$t anyway.
Two of the good additions are ineligible. That, and for whatever reason it always seems to take VCU a few games to get rolling. I'm not going to say that I was expecting it, but I still think VCU will have a big year. Last year, three of their six losses came in November and they struggled to beat some weak teams at the start of the season.

Bobby Morris beats up on Fordham (74-58). Chris Gaston hasn't improved at all since his freshman year.

VCU must already have the stink of the association with Fordham and LaSuck on it.

Enter the A-10 and immediately suck.

And St. Louis is adding to the time honored tradition of A10 teams sucking in the non-conference, thereby ruining the total RPI.

Down 60-44 to Santa Clara with 10 minutes to go.

With the exception of Temple and St. Joe's, this league blows. The flagship will have to come to the rescue again. No drydock this year as previously expected.

Yep. udump takes a, errr, dump.

The Desert Raccoon's midget brother certainly has that program going in the right direction. Of course, we know that they'll play out of their collective asses against us after trashing the A-16's RPI in non-conference.

    Nicely done, Cryers.
