Just a reminder that starting October 1, the Enquirer AKA Cincinnati.com becomes a premium pay site.
They claim they are going to a meter model. You get twenty articles per month free, which they claim is higher than the average usage. Which makes me wonder why they are bothering. I think the online only price is $10 a month, and you can add print edition delivery on top of that.

People who pay for the Cincinnati Enquirer shouldn't be allowed to vote.

If Muskie put a meter on this site and charged per # of posts...Snipe, DC, Kahns, MOR and Go would pay for the rest of us.

Does that also apply for WCPO's website or are they no longer affiliated with Cincinnati.com?

I believe the Dispatch already started doing that a while back, although online content was free if you were already a print subscriber.
I'd pay for such a subscription on the condition that online banner advertising be removed from thr screens.

Paul, that tells me that their advertising money (both print and online) have to be taking enough of a bath to the point where they'll consider the paywall.
If they're willing to ditch the Queensgate printing house and have it printed in Columbus instead, they're already up shit creek.

And in the Q&A, they said even if you pay for web access, you will still get their obnoxious advertising package.
They always said a paper is paid for by advertising.- David Bowers ('95)

I'm presently thinking that I have no appetite for paying for online access to the Cincinnati paper.
Anyone have any creative solutions for accessing relevant reporting, concerning the program? In addition to Xavierhoops, I'm thinking of Xavier's own app.
