This would be a good class to pick up another PG. Dee will be a senior and Semaj will be a junior when a 2014 guy joins the team. As we get closer to that year, we'll also be able to better project whether Semaj is good enough to leave early for the NBA. If so, a 2014 PG could start from Day 1 of sophomore year.
That being said, this guy looks like a stud. A top 15 player for each of the three major recruiting sites. Great size for a PG, looks to have a tight handle and great finishing moves, with the ability to knock down the pull-up jumper and 3-point shot. The ESPN scouting report says that he's an elite passer and his mid-range game is great, but he needs to improve on his defense. Also says that his feel for the game, athleticism, and rebounding are all only okay.
There's enough great play there though to see why this guy is rated so highly. Unless things have changed in the past few months, X is also currently in on another top 20 big PG, JaQuan Lyle, who is ranked right there next to Russell.

His projected position is debatable between the three services (none of them agree). He's still only a sophomore, so a lot could still happen. If his handle improves (he can dribble a little too high), he'll probably be a PG, especially since he's already a great passer. If it doesn't, he'll probably be obligated to play the 2 or 3 like Dez. If he gets taller, he'll probably just naturally transition to one of those positions.

Russell is visiting UC and UK next week. But I found this quote from the article pretty funny:
“I really never watched Cincinnati so I can’t really tell you about them,” he said.
