After Gardner Webb beat Kentucky, which was actually a really cool thing and something that actually made that tournament interesting, the Gazelle Group pretty much reformatted all its tournaments.
Having said that, they don't oversee the CVC tournament. I thought it was one of theirs.
I don't particularly like the Gazelle Group, and am exercising my right to be completely irrational and blame them anyway. Had the Gazelle Group not done it first, the CvC tournament wouldn't have done it either.

"Shades of Dante Jackson of Xavier four years ago!" I know Purdue isn't in the A10, but they just hit a half-courter in the Puerto Rico Tip Off to tie it at half against Iona. If they win they take on Temple.

except Dante iced the game, didn't he? Also, wonder if Momo Jones has been to see his grandma yet.

Neither team seemed to play any d. PU was getting beat down the floor too often in transition. Iona's last play to Momo=weak.

St. Joseph's beat Georgia Tech in round 1 of the Charleston Classic. They'll face Seton Hall next. The Hawks look good.
Martelli is liked by the media. Throw in a good Majerus team, and the conference might have something..
UMass and Richmond win as well. 4-0 on the day. Hey hey. :p
