Speaking of St. Xavier, I got to know your new religion teacher Paul O'Connor S.J. up here in Chicago. As a newly ordained Jesuit, he spent a year as a parish priest at Old St. Patrick's before returning to teaching.
Buy him a beverage at the next event with the compliments of Xavier fandom. Very pleasant fellow, nice homilies. As the wife said, he has the map of Ireland on his face."We sleep safe in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm."

St. X beat St. Eds and played their worst game against St. I's and lost by 3. Eds is the #6 seed playing St. I's who is the #2 seed in their region. X and Colerain definitely could win it this year, but most likely not with these teams in other years. And Columbus football doesn't count so I won't bring them up.

Juice: The Bombers defeated both St Ignatius & St Edward in successive weekends (Games 8 & 9) It should be noted Colerain has lost several key players to injury since the first meeting. Hundley should return for the Bombers; X unveiled a new wrinkle offensively last week using LB Nate Gerbus as fullback/lead blocker.
Two TDs should be enough to win. The Bombers penchant for critical errors may bite them in the rear.I have seen only two great plays: Hamlet and put the ball into the basket
