This band has been around for a few years, but I only recently discovered them, and can’t stop playing their stuff.
The War on Drugs is amazing. They have a new album out- I Don’t Live Here Anymore but all of their stuff is truly remarkable.

Big fan of The War on Drugs! Been listening to these guys since their 2011 album Slave Ambient.

One of my favorite songs of all time is by these guys.

I think the war on drugs is a waste of money! It unfairly targets minorities and has done nothing to curb the use of drugs in our country! In fact, drug use is an even bigger problem today than it was 20 years ago.

Oh wait, this is a band?? Nevermind...carry on.

Getting away from this politics fiasco for a minute.
I saw a just OUTSTANDING concert by The War On Drugs up here in The Land last night. That was expected.
What was not expected was an outstanding opening band named Lo Moon. What a fantastic surprise. I immediately came home and bought their new album.
A superb evening from start to finish. A helluva lot better than watching a bunch of partisan hack politicians hold a kangaroo court!

For us over the hill gang, the Marshall Tucker Band (only the lead singer remains from the originals) returned to their roots here in Spartanburg on Tuesday, to celebrate their 50th anniversary.
Played free, open air concert in the middle of downtown, which was blocked off for the event (advantage of living in small town).
Great music, but his voiced has aged, not for the better.
    But good memories.
...he went up late, and I was already up there.

I just went back and saw a lot of Americana/Folk/Folk Rock groups that I like on here. If you are into that genre, here are a few of my favorite groups:

    Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors
    JOHNNYSWIM
    Joseph
    Birdtalker

And if you like more on the soul side, The War and Treaty is also pretty fantastic.
