This is a travesty.

Believe it or not (and most of you may not) but I actually love the World Cup more than the NCAA Tournament. It's not worth the cost of human life, though. What would FIFA do if for that one year all of the countries who have expressed objections to this just said that they weren't going to play in it, and would host their own tournament instead?

They CAN stop this. If they choose to.
