Interesting. They played 3 games last year against BCS schools. Against Wisconsin he had 2 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 turnovers and shot 1-5. Against Vanderbilt he had 2 points, 3 rebounds, 0 assists, 0 turnovers and shot 0-6. Against Duke he had 4 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 turnover.
He did have 17 points and 14 points in two separate games against Harvard.
He might be an okay addition to add some depth. Probably better than not using the scholarship.
The 5th year senior thing is a good opportunity: moderate reward at very low cost. You rarely see gamechangers (although Lyons was one for sure), but you can get a good body off the bench. And it doesn't affect much of your other recruiting.
I think I'd rather give Stenger the scholie.
Peck to Purdue:

Would imagine the 5th year transfer focus is now to Lasan Kromah, who is reportedly between X and UConn
Bummer. I was really pulling for Peck. Sort of reminded me of a Brian Thornton-type addition. (High basketball IQ but still physical in the paint.)
He reminded me more of a poor man's Andre Walker.
