DePaul took down Minnesota, but..
Butlatta went down to the Fighting Brian Snows
and Georgetown abjectly sucks again going down at home to Northwestern.
Georgetown just can't quit Ewing and the Thompson tree. To their detriment.

Creighton lost the final to Arizona, but looked great overall in the Maui Invitational.
Baylor has been incredible tonight. And by incredible, I mean incredibly shitty. Marquette hit 13 of 15 shots at one point.
Yeah, Marquette may be better than people thought… maybe. Guess the f’em comment may have inspired.
Looks like Georgetown gave Texas Tech a good battle in Lubbock. I was checking out the Georgetown roster, and they've got some dudes on that team. They may be dangerous some nights. Obviously, they've got a terrible coach, so they won't be consistent, but they're going to win a few. Hopefully none of those are against us!
Creighton looks beatable with perimeter D. Hopefully we can hold them for 3 for whatever they were tonight. Yeah I know, it was at Texas
Don't know if Oklahoma Lite is any good, but UConn looked like a complete team dismantling them. Hawkins and Sanogo had the bigger games, but I was impressed by Andre Jackson. He looked like their version of Colby Jones, doing everything on the basketball floor.
The Huskies went to the line 33 times! You're gonna win a crap load of games like that, just how decades of Xavier teams used to do it. It really points directly to coaching IMO. Playing to contact has to be a mindset/culture.
UConn may sweep BOTH Big East Championships.......12/31/22 will tell us a lot!
Villanova is 2-5 and everyone has counted them out. However, they are down 2 starters, one of them being probably their best player in Moore. I still believe they will be tough in conference!
I can't recall the last time Creighton laid a big egg against Nebraska. Especially at home.
Not Nova. Kentucky has a habit of doing that and North Carolina is also pulling it off so far.
Villanova also had Cam Whitmore finally suit up on Saturday and get some minutes in their win against Oklahoma.
BYU and Creighton are on a missionary trip together to Las Vegas?
Creighton's gonna be in a bad mood after Nebraska beat the Jays around on Sunday. Might not be as fun to watch as your typical BYU game.
Did Ryan Kalkbrenner just win the MVP award by not playing in the BYU game last night? Word was he was out due to illness (non-Covid) and now Creighton suddenly has a 4-game losing streak.
Couple of real nice wins for the Big East today. Indiana sure couldn't pull off what Seton Hall did against Rutgers.
Man, Ceighton blows chunks. From top 10 in polls to maybe an NIT team.
5 straight losses. Their big man was out but can't they beat Arizona St?
Hurley brothers are 21-1 .
Does Creighton have multiple people out or just one? They can’t be this bad. Something must be going on.
And Taylor Schiermann too, apparently. He's supposed to be filling the role that Hawkins had the year prior.
Pretty early but g town is beating uconn 25-23 on the road with 8 minutes left in the first half.
Yeah, I don't think Georgetown ever had a lead on us.
Now Georgetown has taken a second half lead. Hurley must be fuming. Georgetown is probably preparing an extension for Ewing.
UConn has got to be getting nervous. This is pretty unbelievable.
Hoyas up 5! What was the line? UConn -23?
Grown up 5 with 13 minutes left. Maybe the be is there for the taking, or UConn is just drunk and high
Up 11, dribbling the clock out, and you jack up a last second shot?
It's like Hurley, who I don't like.
Should get a good sense of where St. John’s is this year, tonight. @villanova tonight, 5 point dogs
Didn’t realize that David jones has transferred to St. John’s. That guy is a stud
St Johns going to be a handful
It was 31-22 Johnnies at one point late in the 1st half. 22-4 run by Nova since then.
It's seems like a long time since I looked at the ESPN top 25 scoreboard on a night when Nova was playing...and they weren't there.
Welp, Villanova is good again, and they will only be better when Moore gets back presumably next month. I wouldn’t be that surprised if they are challenging uconn for the big East if he comes back soon.
Does Nova play relatively good defense? Looks like only SJU's Soriano big man with much production.
Kalkbrenner back for creighton and destroying butler tonight.
