Some say this is a political move to keep Donald J Trump from running again. Others will tell you he stole confidential documents that didn't belong to him.
Regardless of which side of the aisle you stand, this is a major event in the history of our great Republic.
FBI doesn't raid places half cocked, get your popcorn ready...
Seems like a huge mistake to me if it is just for some classified documents.
Man, I hope they find something, anything, that will prevent him from getting the nomination for 2024. This guy has got to go, so someone without all the toxic drama can build on his policies.
My fear is that the Dems have no intent to do anything to make him ineligible, but want to piss him off so bad that his ego assures he will run in 2024. He's the only guy they can beat, and everyone knows it.
This just seems so weird. We have known about the issue with the classified documents in Maralago for months. Seems like the normal M/O is for the party to be alerted to it, and then work with the archives to turn over any documents wrongly taken. I really have to believe that this what happened months ago. Not quite no harm/no foul, but more of just being practical about it to avoid making it look political.Quote:

There was no “necessity” for a raid on Trump. Everyone obviously knew where documents were and there were negotiations ongoing to turn them over, just as others were turned over in January. This is a political show and naked partisanship. Don’t even try to tell me that other former Presidents either knowingly or unknowingly took classified docs with them out of the White House.

I honestly don’t get what people see in Trump. Trouble seems to follow this guy all the time whether it is political or business. Yet, people don’t seem to question why this trouble follows him. I understand that people are fed up with Biden and the liberals which I totally get, but there are other and better options then Trump.
I also don’t get how people can watch the garbage produced by CNN and Fox. These channels shouldn’t even be classified as news channels and more the political party channels they are.
