Xavier's baseball twitter account says 6:24 PM ET

Xavier finally warming up. Now to see if Xavier brings in a new pitcher or asks Loer to get the final 3 outs.
And another lightning strike. Back to the clubhouse for another 30 and change.
Gotta be kidding. Geezus this is stupid
As much as we'd like that to happen, it absolutely won't happen for a postseason game.
What's interesting here is that the night game (should Xavier hold on) would still be at 9 PM. If the night game gets postponed to tomorrow, then there's a better chance Alazaus could be called back on 2 days rest again to pitch the first game against Oregon. The way things stand right now, Xavier would have to win 2 just to get to the winner-take-all Game 7 for the regional.
I guess the good news I didn't miss anything while at my own baseball practice! :)
We have a near-20000-post thread devoted to whether or not climate change is real, yet Vanderbilt may have somehow thrown their own spin in on the matter.
9:00 Eastern. 20 minutes
Can Loer warm up and go again?
Warming up on the field again.
Here we go. Maybe they need to look at that ridiculous lightning rule.
Two outs.
Nails. Bring on the Oregon overlords.
Awesome!! Let’s see if x can finally figure out how to beat the ducks!
Hell yeah! More baseball!
4 hour delay. 4 minutes to exit the Dores!
Have never really paid attention, but this is pretty interesting.
Game starts again in about an hour.. chances of me falling asleep on the couch? 100%
Xavier needs to score early and often to have a shot tonight. We're definitely capable of doing that before getting to the back end of Oregon's bullpen.
This is putting the cart WAY before the horse, but Oral Roberts, the 4 seed in the Stillwater regional, is in very good shape to win that region. So that should mean the winner of X-Oregon would be hosting next weekend's super-regional.
Xavier definitely couldn't host, but maybe Prasco Park would be available.
10:15 first pitch according to Oregon baseball twitter
I've also read that 9:15 PM local time is the latest a game can start per NCAA rules. Heaven forbid if there's another delay, then they'd have to start tomorrow.
Oral Roberts already up 4-1 in the bottom of the 2nd against DBU. Could we really be wondering about Prasco (as in are the Cincinnati Spikes playing that weekend) or whether or not Xavier gets permission to borrow GABP for the weekend? Reds are on the road at St. Louis next weekend.
Game set for 10:10 EST on ESPN+.
Whether it's Oregon or Xavier or DBU or ORU, whoever makes it will have a chance to bid on hosting the Supers since the two national seeds are out. The NCAA will decide who has the winning bid$$$$$$$$$.
X +135
Nick Boyle will be the starter for Xavier tonight. Definitely a bullpen game here.
Grayson Grinsell starting for Oregon; he gave up 2 runs against X before the Ducks went to the meat of their bullpen Friday.
Walks bad
Huge 6-4-3! Let's go!
Go X!
Nice DP to bail out Boyle in the 1st.
Maybe forced their starter to throw enough pitches that he's done, but they probably weren't looking for more than about two from him anyway.
Need another zero from Boyle.
Boyle just can't throw strikes. That's not going to work. We'll, there you go. Billy agrees.
Luke Bell coming in to relieve. Frankly thought he would be starting to begin with.
Can we scrub Vandyboys off the back of the mound for the rest of the series?
Luke Bell: hero
Not a good hitting day for X. We're going to need quite a few runs today, I'm pretty certain.
Tough to waste a leadoff double. Only real bright side is that Oregon's starter won't last long at his pitch count.
I think their pitchers are only going to get tougher, unfortunately.
Fantastic inning for Bell.
Was just a matter of time until they launched one. Solo shot. No big deal. We need to score a few anyway.
