Agreed on all accounts. Outside of the time when everything was shut down, I really haven't changed much in my life. I moved on along time ago.

It's very curious to read people so proud of what turns out is essentially a worthless "vaccination".
Professor: COVID Survival Rate For Under 20s is 99.9987%

But the teacher's unions don't want kids in school (see Chicago and other cities). A lunatic mom locked her kid in a trunk to quarantine. Colleges are still shutting down. Mask mandates are still in effect even with multiple vaccinations and boosters.
It is absolutely absurd.
Thanks for the link. Interesting read. As a teacher in the education field, I will say that most teachers believe that kids should absolutely be in school as much as possible. However, schools are cesspools for all of these virus including COVID, Flu, etc. The problem we have is this stuff spreads like wildfires where a large chunk of the school population including staff gets it. Then there are not enough staff members to teach, cook, drive bus, etc and finding subs is like finding gold these days. Not sure if this is what Chicago is dealing with but that is our biggest issue. We also don’t know the long term issues people who have Covid may experience in the future. The joys of a new virus. Hopefully soon it will turn into a Flu type virus.
Well, Covid got me. My kids brought it home from pre school, likely from their teachers who have it (but who knows maybe they all got it from other kids or wherever).
My wife has it and one of my triplets confirmed to have it. We only had 3 tests so our other 3 kids werent tested but I am sure they have it.
Luckily due to an exposure right before Christmas I got the monoclonal antibody infusion the day after Christmas so hoping that keeps my symptoms mild.
No Nova game for me, boo.
Ah bummer… hope it continues to be mild. Not that you’re asking for advice- but Paxlovid is highly effective too and just distributed in Ohio if it’s something available to you. We just started using it yesterday and assuming no drug drug interactions it is a good looking option.
