What has become of Australia? If you’ve taken any time at all to look in the last few months, the country has become a living hell because of their insane leaders who are pursuing the insane notion of Covid Zero. Virtually all of their citizens have been stripped of their rights, and now effectively live in a prison. Should the USA place trade embargoes on them and refer them to the UN for human rights violations? Will the actions of this tyrannical police state lead to a civil war? Should we arm the citizens that are trying to fight for their freedoms?

Back in the late 1990s the Australian government confiscated the guns from their citizens. I would argue that if we didn’t have 2nd Amendment rights, and a federal system where governors like Ron DeSantis are able to push back on Washington DC, that Fauci, Biden and the Democrats absolutely would’ve done the same thing and made our lives just as miserable as Australians. Our founding fathers got this one completely right.

I'm not sure what Australia has done, and Tucker is certainly not a reliable source.
But, the US has 212 deaths per 100K people. Australia has 5 deaths per 100K people.

According to the Reuters article a few posts above, they’re in lockdown, though it’s not clearly defined how severe it is.

There is a travel ban in and out of the country and has been for 18 months..some of that will be eased in November if vaccinated. There is also some travel restrictions between some of the states because some states are stricter than others.

Why this is so awful to people like Lou and crazy Tucker Carlson is beyond me. The zero covid bs that Lou espouses is complete nonsense as usual since everything said from officials in Australia is talking about now being able to live with covid due to vaccinated % and thus opening the borders.

Oh I forgot “ my rights, police state etc etc”

So, they are opening International travel. That’s good. The Aussies are in lockdown and have been protesting for some time. It is not a good situation for the people there. BTW, the NYT is less credible than Tucker. :)
