It's not well-publicized (outside of the website itself), but Amazon.com has a fair amount of digital content available to Amazon Prime subscribers. A lot of it overlaps with Netflix, and I'm not sure I'd call it worthwhile enough to get a Prime subscription for, but if you are a Prime member, its worth checking out.

I've found that the instant cue is a goldmine of really, really crappy movies! These are great for a really boring saturday night, I even have my wife looking forward to our garbage pick of the week!
The beauty of the instant cue is just that, not enough action? taking too long for someone to pull back a bloody stump? not grossed out enough? Toss it back and try another!
Started watching "Wire in the Blood" this weekend. British drama and a psychologist trying to solve serial killings.
I noticed this weekend that the trailers for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo are out. The 3 movie set is out in the Scandinavian Drama section. The movies are in Swedish and dubbed, but they are absolutely perfectly done. Zero chance that the star of the English version can come anywhere close to matching the performance that Noomi Rapace puts on as the title character. Michael Nyquist is a great actor and a regular guy. I can't see Daniel Craig coming across the screen as a regular guy, but I could be wrong.

Lots of TV critics are reviewing old series this summer. One of my favorites, Alan Sepinwall, is re-reviewing Twin Peaks.
I just watched the 1st episode of Twin Peaks (it's on Netflix Instant). It's one of the oddest things I've seen. I can't tell if I like it or hate. It reminds me of a much stranger version of a Quinton Tarantino film.
If your in to weird, check it out.
Finished watching all 10 episodes of "World War II in HD" on Netflix. Some pretty intense stuff, especially the brutality of the island battles in the pacific. Not for the weak of stomach.
"Lost in America" is a fun comedy.
Sort of a weird show to me. It's in between a single camera show and a sitcom. The laugh track is odd.Quote:

Forgot to mention I watched "Trailer Park Boys" on netflix at my brother's place. That show is a riot. Anyone else a fan?
Just watched "Metropolitan". Loved it. Very funny and makes you feel sympathy for the "UHB".
