Interesting article. I didn't realize Buchanan ran against Bush in 1992. Seem like a bit of a self fulfilling prophecy - i.e. you probably have to be a flawed President to be vulnerable to a serious primary challenge, which would then lead to you losing the general election.Quote:

I don't think recent history supports this theory. A moderate candidate that can bring people across the aisle sounds nice, but someone that promises people health care, etc, etc, and etc is what drives people to polls.Quote:

The Barr comments were pretty straightforward, he actually was not required to have a press conference, nor was even legally required to release the report, but did so in the interest of transparency. However, that still wasn't enough for the butthurt Dems and their media minions.

Barr owned them all, including that blonde bimbo from CBS News who tried to nail Barr, but he just wrecked her and shot her to the moon with her own "unprecedented" words.
