It’s annoying enough that I never forget, but I ALWAYS wear one into a restaurant or retail store, etc. I have hand sanitizer (which is easy to get now) in my car so I don’t worry much about my hands. I HAVE been accused of being at least a little crazy, however.
If any of the docs on the board are willing to chime in on this, I would greatly appreciate it. In early April I began reading articles on blood types and how COVID-19 may impact patients differently. The reports were initially disregarded, but it now seems that blood type may actually be a factor in predicting complications and symptons (severity of the virus). Any thoughts?
He’s not a doc, but my nerdy chemical engineer BIL was talking about this, then I later heard some info that made it sound like there might be something to it. I’d be curious to learn about this as well. I suppose some like the CDC or Fauci might not want to talk about this for fear that some people might “feel safe” and take the same level of precautions? Again, I heard something about it as well, and I’m curious.......
Mask wearing is not realistic. There are about 50 million grade schoolers in the US. How long are they supposed to be locked in their homes? What about universities?
That's what I've been saying. Most people aren't wearing their masks properly.. and I'm not judging. I think I've worn the same medical mask for 3 weeks now. If you don't wash daily or like Waggy said throw away after every use then they just don't work..
