Two good songs to check out: Girls - Vomit and Dum Dum Girls - Coming Down

Both are relatively new bands.

So you are not surprised, Girls is a guy band from SF.

This girl is FANTASTIC.

Was helping my pal cut up his Irish band's live album at a local recording studio and as the entire disc was finishing we stepped into an awesome hot dog and music bar called The Happy Dog for a Guiness and a whiskey and saw this girl performing. Wonderful, unique voice and I really dug her songs. Please give it a listen.
