Crazy game. I gotta say, glad I wasn't posting during the first half. Only 24 hours after I posted we need to let the season play out and see what happens and judge Steele then and not fire him after every game, I was ready to fire him at halftime!

29-2 run was unbelievable.

I just rewatched the first half. The energy did seem different and the focus was not quite there. I really wish there was not such a short rotation. There’s some guys that can play on the bench.

Steele isnt it. I said this on multiple.other games and I say it now. This team will perennially underperform with Steele at the helm. Struggle bus to achieve a .500 conference record year after year. Sorry but he does need to go

Yeah I think it was mentioned on the broadcast too, but I loved that move from Steele to keep the guys in, they were hot, they deserved it.

I watched on replay because of a prior commitment or I would likely have been a bad poster. With all due respect to '94, it is easy to pick this apart after the fact. I doubt if even his formidable insight and optimism foresaw a 29 - 2 run. Perhaps a bit of grace is warranted all the way around.

I will gladly suffer through large halftime deficits if the outcomes continue to point to W. The fact is, this team cannot keep digging itself deep holes and hope to finish anywhere near the top of this league.

I love Xavier basketball and have never predicted them to lose, which is one reason I never crack the top 25 in pick-the-score.
