Is it a tremendous outbreak? It looks like a couple hundred cases, which can lead to badness, but tremendous outbreak? Hawaii has the ability to contain it quicker than most places on the mainland, so hopefully they are able to shut it down quickly.

Edit: your point was that it is intensifying in spite of mask mandate and “lockdown” but really the spreading is likely those violating those mandates.

Do you have any idea to what I'm referring to? Because your reply certainly doesnt indicate as much. If you think it has anything to do with a mask, it doesn't.

Four people in New Zealand have COVID so they’re shutting everything down again. That’s a reasonable response I guess to one family having a virus that only kills old people.

Wow! 1350 citations over the weekend. Almost half of the number of cases they’ve had to date. Maybe they should let Chicago, Seattle and New York borrow some of their officers?

I was guessing that you were dissing Beshear because of a mask requirement. Because you say that was not what you were referring to, my apologies.

Nope...although I am not convinced it's all that effective, whatever at this point I don't care.

I'm speaking more to the fact that yesterday, he decided that a week before catholic schools were supposed to open up here, it is recommended they wait 6 weeks. So now, I'm sure the archdiocese so as not to look bad, is going to go with his "recommendation." The schools spent months preparing a plan, spending money on that plan, and ensuring the health and safety of the kids, teachers and parents. Parents (both working adults) like my wife and I, planned on having our kids begin next week, but now because of Dictator douchebag, we are going to have to figure out what the heck to do with two 4 year olds while we work everyday for 6 weeks, with a weeks notice. The guy is an overreaching illogical douche who picks and chooses how, where and when the virus appears...apparently grocery stores, movies, bars and restaurants before ten, churchill downs, is virus free and/or masks are just fine....but 10 kids and 1 teacher seeing each other every single day is a major problem but just for the next 6 weeks when suddenly the virus will disappear. The guy can seriously kiss my ass.
