He was upset, and rightly so, that some ideas about mitigation don’t make it into print, and that they need to.

You missed the first part of of the complaint which was, “the number of wildfires started by people”.
Oh, and most of us are all for mitigation tactics to stop wildfires. Because they happen. And have happened. As long as there have been forests.

One would think that nearly 7 billion more people exhaling and farting 24/7 would be a huge contributing factor.....ESPECIALLY when you factor in the similar ratio of animals required to feed us, doing the same.
